Artist's Comments
When we got back from the con this past weekend, we found that my one kitty, Anya, had gone downhill big time. She was having trouble breathing, and wasn't eating much of anything, yet she was still trying to be strong. We had to put her to sleep yesterday to end her suffering...She lived to be 18 1/2 which is good for a cat, and she was relatively healthy to the very end. She was my baby and I'm really going to miss her...we all are. This was something I did with her in mind.

My cat died recently, too. We never really gave him much attention, and he hadn't been doing very well (he only lived for about 3 years), but it still feels a bit odd not seeing him around.
